A Sermon on being Shrewd & Innocent

February 22, 2011/by David Seabaugh

As our congregation has read through the Bible, it has given me an opportunity to preach on passages that I would never have chosen otherwise.  Every time, I have been blessed by the power of God’s word to transform lives.  So as we  made the turn into the New Testament this week, I could’t help but to choose Matthew 10:5-20 as our Gospel lesson.  My sermon title?  You guessed it.
